P&V Group recently obtained ISO/IEC 27001 certification, the international standard for information security management. This certification confirms that we have set up and audited an Information Security Management System (ISMS) to manage, monitor and continuously improve risks relating to cybersecurity and data.
What does ISO 27001 mean in concrete terms?
ISO 27001 requires a risk-driven approach to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information. This concerns not only IT, but also processes, people and suppliers. Think of policy, access management, incident management, training/awareness, continuity and periodic evaluations.
Scope of the certification:
The certification applies to all locations within the P&V Group.
Certification carried out by SGS on 05/01/2026 (certificate: BE26/0000001).
Why this is important for customers and partners:
- An externally audited structure for managing information security.
- Clear governance around risks, controls and follow-up.
- Continuous improvement through internal controls, incident review and periodic audits.
ISO 27001 is not a promise that incidents will never happen. However, it does demonstrate that we systematically organise information security, control risks and demonstrably follow up on improvement actions.
